Mr. Rama Rao Bhimavarapu

Founder and President

Mr. Ramarao Bhimavarapu has nearly 20 years of experience delivering accounting, tax and consulting services for banks, public and private companies, and government organizations. Mr. Bhimavarapu received his education from Sri Venkateswara University (Tirupati, India) where he graduated.

 

Mr. Bhimavarapu began his career as an Articled Clerk for Guru & Co., Chartered Accountant. He received certification as a Chartered Accountant, becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. During his career in India, Mr. Bhimavarapu served in a variety of roles, including as an auditor for various banks, including IDBI, as loss assessor for the government of India, and as Managing Partner for B. Ramarao & Co. As an auditor, he conducted a wide range of audits, including revenue, statutory, and income leakage audits.

Mr. Bhimavarapu brought his accounting skills to the United States, where he served in a wide variety of accounting roles in the private sector, including as controller and accounting department manager for a $50 million IT services company. In these roles, Mr. Bhimavarapu developed skills in general accounting, corporate and individual tax planning and preparation, and corporate and personal finance, specializing in the development of internal controls to prevent income leakage.

Mr. Bhimavarapu has recently exercised his entrepreneurial spirit by forming RamaCPA, LLC to deliver a wide range of accounting and financial planning services to individuals and small to midsized business owners.

In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Mr. Bhimavarapu is also a Certified Public Accountant with membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of Duchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
